Peas masala






ingredients:

Peas 250 gms

Onion 3 no (finely chopped )

tomato 2 ( chopped)

carrot 1 ( chopped )

Ginger 1' ( grated )

Garlic 5 flakes ( grated )

green chilly 2 ( slit lengthwise )

corriander leaves a bunch

Garam masala 1 tsp

Corriander powder 1 tbsp

Chilly powder 1 tsp

Pepper powder 1/4 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Method:

1. Soak peas almost for 8hours and cook well adding salt and turmeric powder

2.cook tomato and carrot and grind these roughly .

3. heat oil in a pan and fry onions till brown

4.Add ginger , garlic and green chilly and fry for few seconds

5.Add corriander powder, chilly powder, garam masala and pepper powder and mix well

6. Add roughly ground tomato and carrot

7. Add cooked peas, cover with a lid and boil for 5 minutes .

8.garnish with corriander leaves and serve hot with rotis.
