Prawns Masala



Ingredients:
Prawns : 500gm
Onion : 3 (chopped )
Tomato :2(chopped)
Green chilly :3 (chopped )
Garlic 2 tbsp (chopped )
Ginger 1 tbsp (chopped )
Thick coconut milk : 1/2 cup

Pepper :1tsp
Corriander powder :1tbsp
Turmeric powder: 1tsp
Chilly powder :1tbsp
Garam masala : 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil : 4 to5 tbsp
Curry leaves : few


Method:
Devein and clean the prawns . Apply salt and turmeric powder. Mix well and cook on a low flame till they become soft.
Heat oil in a pan and add onions.Once they turn golden colour, add  chopped ginger , garlic, Green chilly,curry leaves and fry  till light brown.Add tomato and fry till the oil separates.
Now add all the powders and fry lightly.
Add cooked prawns and mix well in the masala gravy for 1 minute.
Lastly add coconut milk , stir well and sprinkle few curry leaves on top and  remove from the stove.
Serve with Roti or Rice.
