kadai chicken

Ingredients:
1 kg chicken
50 g ghee or oil
25-35 g ginger-garlic paste
4whole red chilies
5 tsp corriander powder
2 tsp chilly powder
1tsp Jeera
20 cashew nuts (soaked in hot water and grind to paste )
4 big onions
4 green chillies
20 g corriander leaves
10 g garam masala
1tsp kasoori methi ( soaked in hot water)
4 tomato
2 capsicum

Directions:
1)skin the chicken and cut into medium size pieces.
2)chop tomatoes, green chillies, coriander leaves, onions, capsicum.
3)heat ghee in wok,fry jeera, add red chillies then add onions and saute till light brown.
4)add ginger garlic paste and stir for a minute then add coriander powder and chilly powder and salt.
5)add tomatoes and fry then add green chillies.
6)simmer for 5-6 mins then add chicken.when half done, add cashew paste ,capsicum and kasoori methy. keep on medium flame till fat floats on top and gravy is thick and chicken is cooked.
7)sprinkle garam masala.
8)add coriander leaves and stir.
9)taste for salt and seasoning.
10)remove onto a wok, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and slices of onion.
