Ingredients:
Milk powder-200gm (11/2 cup)
Cocoa powder - 15 gm (3tbsp)
Sugar -200gm
Butter(unsalted ) -100gmwater -1/2 cup
Method:
1.Mix milk powder and cocoa powder together and sieve well.
2.dissolve sugar in the water.
3 heat the dissolved sugar in a pan. stir well till you get a thread consistency
4.You can check for this by feeling the syrup between your fore-finger and thumb. (If the syrup has reached the required consistency, then you will able to pull it out like a thread).
5..Add butter , lower the flame and stir well till it melts completely.
6.Now add the powder mixture stirring continuously.and cook for 2minutes on alow flame.
7. Remove from the stove and transfer the mixture in to a greased tray.
8. Allow it to cool for 10 minutes. Then, cut it into desired shape.Chocolate is ready.
Tip: you can add dry fruits or nuts to the batter after boiling, and also make out fancy shapes using icing tubes

ReplyDeleteI never made chocolate at home, I simply buy and eat. I cant believe, it is so simple to make ( except the correct consistency of sugar syrup). Now I am going to make , simply because it will be tasty and it wont bite my purse!! :-)
