Kozhuva / Anchovy Fry


Kozhuva / Anchovy is a small fish but very healthy  nutritious and tasty.you dont have to add more spices as this will destroy the the real flavour of the fish .

Ingredients
Kozhuva / Anchovy  500gm
Chilly powder-2 to 3 tbsp
Turmeric powder-2tsp
Vinegar-15ml
Salt-to taste
Coconut oil-200 ml or as required

Method :
Clean and make slits on the fish. Make a paste of the chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt and vinegar. Apply the paste on the kozhuva and keep it aside for two hours for the fish to absorb the marinade well. Deep fry it in oil by putting one by one into it or (you can shallow fry also)  and serve hot. This is quick and easy to make and can be served as a delectable snack!
