Ingredients:
Potato - 4 ( medium size)
Coconut - 1 cup
Green chilly - 2
Method:
Peel and dice potatos .wash well and cook them adding enough water, turmeric powder,chilly powder, green chilly and salt.
Grind coconut with 1tsp of jeera and add them to the cooked potato gravy.Boil for 2 minutes and stir well and remove from the fire.
Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard and add dal,red chilly , shallot and curry leaves. Fry till the shallots turn to brown and pour them over the curry.
Serve hot with Puttu or idiyappam.
