Ingredients:
kadachakka - 2 cups cubed (after removing the green exterior )
Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
Chilly powder -1/2 tsp
Shallot -2
Green chilly -2
Coconut -1/2 cup (grated )
Salt to taste
Oil - 1tbsp
Dry red chilly -2
Mustard seed 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves -1 spring
Method :
Crush coconut with shallot and green chillies.
Heat oil in a pan and splutter mnustard seed, urad dal . Add red chilly and curry leaves and fry .
Add the chopped kadachakka , turmeic powder and salt. Mix well , cover with a lid and cook on a low flame till soft. If needed sprinke some water to cook.
Add crushed coconut mixture and stir well.
Add red chilly powder and let it be on a low flame till dry .
Serve with rice and sambar.
