Chemmeen, muringa & cheerathandu Curry

Ingredients:
Prawns  : 1/4 kg (cleaned )
Drumstick :  6 pieces cut into lengthwise
Green spinach stem : 6 pices cut into lengthwise
Tomato: 1 chopped
Green chilly :2 slit lengthwise
Ginger : 1/2'' piece grated
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder : 1 tsp
Salt to taste.


 For grinding :
Grated coconut : 1/2 cup
Green chilly :1
Pearl onion : 1
Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
For seasoning :
Oil : 1tsp
Red chilly :2
Curry leaves : 1 spring
Method :
Grind all the ingredients listedto be ground to a fine paste with little water.
In a pan add 1 cup of water and add drumstick, spinach stem , green chilly,grated ginger, turmeric powder, chilly powder and salt and bring to boil. When the veggies are half cooked , add cleaned prawns and cook until done.
Add tomato and cook for a minute and add the ground coconut paste to this gravy.
Lower the flame and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes.
Heat coconut oil in a pan, add red chilly, curry leaves and saute till it turns to light brown and add to the curry.
Serve with Rice or Roti and Enjoy!!!!!

    How are you? Here after a long long time. Actually I came looking for your prawn recipe of 23rd Nov 2009, which I have cooked many times, long back.
    Now I see you have posted so many prawn recipes! I dont know how I have missed all these.
    Prawns with Drum sticks, looks awesome..will make soon. I like the recipe.
