Ethakai / Raw Plantain Mezhukkupuratti

Ingredients :
Raw Plantain :3
Green chilly : 5
Dry red chilly : 3
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Curry leaves
Coconut oil : 3 tbsp

Method :
Roughly peel off the skin and cut the plantain into 4 parts and  chop into small pieces.
Slit green chillies lengthwise.
Slice red chillies lengthwise.
Cook chopped plantains adding water , salt , turmeric powder, green chilies and curry leaves.drain the excess water and keep aside.
In a frying pan heat coconut  oil and fry dry red chillies lightly and add the cooked plantain and stir well. Remove from the fire and serve as a side dish with rice.
