Ingredients:
Toor Dal 1 Cup
Cheera / spinach - 2 cup (chopped finely )
Coconut 1/2 cup
Jeera ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Chilly powder – ¼ tsp
Green chilly -1
Raw mango( small size )- 1
Salt to taste
Seasoning :
Mustard ¼ tsp
Dry red chilly -2
Curry leaves.
Oil 1 tbsp
Method:
1 . grind coconut with jeera and keep aside.chop mango into 4 pieces.
2. Cook dal in a pressure cooker adding enough water, salt and turmeric powder.
3. Now add the chopped spinach / cheera along with slit green chilly and red chilly powder.Boil for a minute .
4. Add mango pieces and cook till soft. If you don’t want the curry to be little sour you don’t need to add mango.
5. Now add the ground coconut mixture and stir well and boil for a minute. .
6. Remove from fire.
7. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seed and then add red chilly and curry leaves and add them to the curry. Serve with rice or chapathi.

I make toor dal with Spinach, but it is very different. This one is new to me. Must cook soon.
The color looks very pinkish, does it look like this, then it is great! Or may be color shift in camera
