Gobi manchurian


Ingredients:
Cauliflower : 1/2 ( cut into bite size florets)
Refined Oil  for making deep fry.
For the batter -
Maida -6tbsp
cornflour - 3tbsp
Soya sauce -1tbsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1tsp
Pepper - 1/4 tsp
Salt - as reqd
Water to make batter.
For the sauce:
Onion  -2 chopped finely
Capsicum -1( small ) diced
Green chilly - 4 chopped
Spring onion-2 stalks chopped
Ginger -2 tbsp ( chopped )
Garlic -2tbsp (chopped )
Soya sauce - 1tbsp
Chilly sauce-1tbsp
Tomato ketchup - 1tbsp
Vinegar - 1tsp

Method :
Mix all the ingredients for the  batter in little water.
Dip cauliflower in the batter well and deep fry in oil till they turn to dark brown colour .
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add onion, green chilly, ginger, garlic and fry till they are translucent.
Add capsicum and stir fry for few seconds.
Add chilly sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar and soya sauce .mix well and add the fried cauliflower to this gravy.
To make the sauce thicken , mix cornflour  in little water and add to it or if you have left over batter ,mix with little more water and add to the sauce .. Boil for few seconds and remove from fire.
Garnish with chopped spring onions and corriander leaves & serve hot..
