Ingredients:
Jackfruit seeds : 20
Bitter gourd : 1 small
Pearl onion : 12
Dry red chilly : 5
Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
salt to taste
Oil : 2 tbsp
Curry leaves : few
Method :
Remove the skin of the jf seeds. Cut them length wise and wash well.
Add enough water in a pan and cook covered adding salt and turmeric powder.
Cut pavaikka( bitter gourd) into small size pieces .
Crush onion and red chilly.
Heat oil in apan and add crushed onion mixture, curry leaves and saute for sometime and add pavaika. Cover and cook till it becomes soft.
Open the lid add the cooked jf seeds and stir well.
Saute for few minutes to get a crispy texture.
Serve with rice .
